Computational Linguistics

Loom

Polyglot subtitle-intelligence platform shipped across three surfaces: a published browser extension (Firefox + Chrome/Edge), a hosted web app, and a desktop build. The extension renders dual-language subtitles with per-token phonetic readings — furigana, Pinyin, Zhuyin, Jyutping, Korean romanization — live over YouTube, Netflix, iQIYI, and WeTV. Spans ~20 languages across a dozen writing systems (CJK, Korean, Thai, Cyrillic, six Indic scripts, Hebrew, Arabic/Persian/Urdu), with typographically-informed rendering, a streaming PGS rasterizer, and an 800+-test suite.
